Education v1

  • Education: Teach them how to speak the language and navigate the world of blockchain and contribute to the space
    • Technical
      • We don’t have much experience to begin with, start with doing a project + getting other people with some programming ability to do the project with us -> see how it goes and then go on to formalizing training from there
    • Non-technical
      • Self-Sufficient blockchain learner: they have the tools to navigate the space and learn new concepts on their own
        • Need to know: how technologies work, keep up with those technologies, have a conversation with developers
    • Communal Passion
      • Consistently tie back the importance of what you are teaching
      • Bring in passionate guest speakers (refer to Stanford speaker series)
    • NOTE: refer to Blockchain at Michigan’s tech/non-tech routes
    • Education
      • On-Ramp Program: teach people the tools to navigate and speak about blockchain
        • Blog posts (some mandatory), small pool of highly-curated resources, guided discussion, based off of Michigan course?
      • Blog posts
      • “Start here” education sequence (required readings, student led presentations w/ recordings)
      • Pool of organized resources for people to learn from
